1994 lightening Shift Issue
I have a 1994 with 130K that shifts hard from 1st to 2nd.

A couple of things to look into; if the speedometer works properly, and/or a blinking OD OFF light.

Lighting Shift Issue
The only speedo symptom was a erratic needle. Bought a used cluster the needle no longer jumps but still have the hard 1 to 2 shift
