Ok fellas I am possibly looking to trade my truck in this week on a '15 Platinum CC 4x4 the dealer is working numbers and I should hear from my credit union tomorrow ........ If all goes well I will be driving to the dealer Friday to make the deal.
I have not seen the truck in person I have only seen pics.
My question is what are the buttons above the 4wd switch?
I can make out the center from the pic which is the traction control however there are two other spots which this truck does not have. I looked up pics of other trucks and I see a button that is to the left of the traction control but can't make out what it is?
Also is the large round button that is below the 4x4 switch the exhaust brake?
Ok it makes sense as to why it's on an FX4 equipped truck and not the Platinum I looking at....... Oh and truck I am looking at is a 250 not a 350 DRW
Thanks
I have a platinum with hill descent control. I agree, don't see a real need for it. The exhaust brake and tow haul keep my truck in line on the way down a 10%+ grade without me having to touch the brakes, unless someone in front of me decides to slow down to make a turn or for some unknown reason just hits the brakes really hard. (that has happened...) Then I get to use my brakes and hopefully soon a train horn...
Hill Start Assist (or Hill hold) is an invisible option that hits the brakes when you start out on a hill for you, giving you enough time to move your right foot from the brake to the accelerator without sliding backwards, because no one of course would ever use their left foot in a automatic to hold the brake. (sarcasm).
