Hell yeah! it's exciting isn't it? I meant to ask, is this going in your CC? I thought so, but the truck in your avatar looks like a single. Just curious. I remember when I left at dark to get to JW at 7 am. I loved that morning. Was just cruising and watching the sunrise over the desert. Drove home that evening to the sunset. They had mine out in about 45 min. It's amazing how easy it really is to get out.

Yea it's for the 97, I actually just sold the single to my buddy who needed wheels for awhile, as it turns out the trans that was in the CC was the wrong one, it was for a 88-89 idi Brian told me. Which explains all the problems.

So what happens now. Is he taking the idi trans as a core or can he make it work for you?

What the? I wonder how that happened. I am surprised it even worked. Yeah, that would cause just a few problems. LOL!

Well a variety of things happened yesterday, the tranny being wrong, which is now fixed, my chIP (which was installed previously by the P.O.) was installed incorrectly into the pcm, which Brian suspected so he removed the pcm and found the formatting on the chip junk so I got another one from him, then the wire to the switch was completely smashed between the park brake assembly and the chassis, so he programmed the new chip with his tunes and all is well in that world now, we went and drove for probably 20 miles putting the trans through her paces and trYing out the different tunes, everything worked great, Brian seemed to really like the 97, he said he used to have a red one he missed lol we went out to lunch in lead hill and had a nice conversation about the emissions on the new trucks which we both dislike. I have some pics I need to upload, all in all it was a great experience I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best trans possible.

Sweet! So there is no buyer's remorse this morning then? lol. I bet the perma-grin from a healthy trans and some new tunes helps in that regard!
