Thx for the info Joe, much appreciated ........ we're gonna ride by the seat of our pants & hope for the best........
I hope you & yours are all OK
I'm fine Gerry, I'm in Tennessee, but I do still have a lot of family there.
Like I said, all the bridges are open and clear, but the Interstate is closed and I would not expect it to be open by morning. They are posting updates on the closure on the thruway website, last update was 7:08pm. You might want to check it for the latest update before you leave. If you can check it again before you hit the Toronto area and it's still closed, don't waste your time and take the 401 to Windsor and the I-75 from Detroit south.
Thx for the link Joe, I will surely check it out........... you guys have been a big help
if we end up going I75 I'll be driving thru TN.......
Hope your having a safe trip Gerry, looks like the opened the interstate to limited traffic about 20 mins ago, yet there are still widespread driving bans on in the Buffalo area.
The wife and I initiated "operation snow removal" today. I love her but for God's sake, when I tell her to turn the wheel left please, just turn it left! Tempers rose out there but we rallied and got the job done! (right down to the front steps). Anyway, the worst is behind us and hard work pays off!
Thanks for all the encouragement... now where's my beer!
