Whats the latest on the storm guys, I'm heading to Buffalo on Friday on my way to FL????
can I get through >>>>>>>
If you're heading down to Buffalo you won't run into any snow problems until you get halfway in to Buffalo. We have these snow bands that drop 4' of snow on one road and three blocks away there's practically nothing. It just depends on what part of Buffalo you have to get to. It's supposed to warm up by the weekend but then roof collapses will become a problem as well as flooding. If the weather stabilizes they'll open the Thruway and you might be okay. It's a mess here.
Thank you Wally, George & Mike, much appreciated...
Mike did you get all that snow in NC
Daytona Speedway is having their annual 'Hot Rod Turkey' run & car show,
I've been invited by a friend here who has a time share right on Daytona Beach..
we're leaving here at 6 AM Friday ........ I hope we can make it thru that storm....
Boy do I remember those days, here is a guy walking down the street I lived on in South Buffalo in the early 1970's...
And just like back in those days, when you send the wives to the store for emergency supplies and they are sold out of shovels, they know to get the next BEST thing...
Guys, Like the Man said. Check on the elderly in your
area and help them all you can. This scares the crap
out of them. I know cuz I am one. And somehow clean
off them roofs as when it warms up it will turn into tons.
I am praying for ya all. Please be safe and smart.
PS: Maybe go get a sled, Snow machine thing. I doubt
the law would give ya to much trouble if ya road slow
for beer and other supply's. Heck how they gonna stop
you anyway. There cruisers ain't going nowhere. But neither
is the ambulance. Again folks, be safe and make the
best of it helping out the folks next door.
