whats wrong? have a 6.8 diesel with a c6 that was rebuilt after installing will shift first and second ok . will not stay in third. after taking foot off throttle it will go back down into second. any ideas? thanks

i'm assuming that it shifts into third just by holding steady throttle? is the kickdown linkage all connected correctly?
