No. But if you'll compare the ports between the two, you'll see that the GT40 ports aren't much difference in size. I don't know how they compare as to flow but I'd be surprised if they're that much different

The ports on the GT40 or the GT40P are just a bit bigger then the E7 heads that is the most common head on 5.0 & 5.8 built in the late 80's thru the end of production of the Winsor SB. Any intake intended for a 5.8 will fit. In fact if you went with the GT40Y or X aluminum heads you would still not have a problem with port mismatch.

A head with bigger port size is not a problem when used with a smaller intake, it's when you go the other way that you have to do some port matching. Putting a Lighting intake on a E7 or E6 head would require you to do some port matching to gain the most benefit from such a swap.

It's not just the port match you have to figure on, it's also the "meat" around the port on the intake covering the port on the head. (at the top of the port) The port opening on the intake is usually smaller than that on the heads, it's likely the Lightning intake's port is no bigger than the E6/E7 port on the head.

. Are you intentionally planning a rock crawler engine that works well way down in the 1200 - 3500 RPMs range? Or more of a performance engine?

. For a truck, for 1000 - 6000 RPMs, suggest something like a 214/224 durations cam (ask for 351W firing order) like a Lunati VooDoo cam:
