If your coolant pressure is 17PSI and the coolant is hot, I would say your heater core is completely plugged!
They don't purge well and if you pressure it up ("back-wards") you might just blow it up!
I would be replacing it!
Looks like you have "other" problems too. Clogged radiator and or other cooling system blockage......
You don't want to be driving if it is gurgling.
Things can go from bad to disaster fast at that point.
Do the free stuff first.
What color is the exhaust and what does it smell like?
Let it cool down then check the coolant level.
Pull the EGR valve after you let it sit nose
down over night to see if there is any coolant
in the intake under the valve.
Do you have access to cooling system test tools?
Use a small vacuum pump to pull a vacuum and
see it that holds. The reason for the vacuum is you
don't want to push coolant into places where is does
not belong. If the vacuum holds then pressure test next.
