So as some of you have read before, I inherited a 57' F-100 from my late grandfather. However, I am a bit confused as to whether it was modded at some time in the past...
I am suspicions to a mod as I have a floor shiftier and what also looks like a column shiftier... I tried to check what was original by looking at the info plate, but the plate is different then most other plates I have seen or what is mentioned in the shop manual. If anyone could help me clear this up, I would be grateful.
I am guessing that the "A" is equivalent to a "1" on normal plates, though I can't be sure as: 1.) A stock "1" (If I remember correctly) was a 3 speed transmission, but mine is a 4 speed transmission, and 2.) The column shiftier being present.

Reason: Re-wording to be less confusing
