With the cold weather coming upon us here in Texas it seems like when I start my truck up after it has sat for a while it knocks and pings and will not have any power at all until it warms up good. I do plug it in at night when I am at home and don't have any issues with it. Is there anything I can do to it when I am away from home and cant plug it up? What makes it run like dog sh**, and long should I wait and let it warm up before I drive?
thanks, forgot to add that it is an 04 F250 with around 198,000 miles on her. EGR delete and SCT tuner. It turns over just fine and starts up fine its just when it down it sounds like a large cam in it, lol
