Might be best to find a local seat shop and let them rebuild it. They can probably do it for about what Ford would charge for the part.
It's that or a wrecking yard I would guess. If you go to the seat shop, have them freshen up the foam in your seat while you're there. Makes a ton of difference.
Same here !!!! My Roller on the side of the seat just spins and nothing happens. I remember a few years back a link or a post of someone explaining how to fix it. Would like to try to fix mine if i can find the post.
I tried the fix and it worked for a few weeks. Think I used too stiff of a sheet of plastic. The frame was so brittle it eventually crumbled. I spoke to a friend at a dealership today. This is the part number he gave me for it: 8c3z15-65501a. I'm ordering one.
Bought the part from one of the Ford dealer in Washington that PartsGuy Ed worked at and replaced it myself. Very easy fix. Been in there for about 6-7 years now with no problem. The part was about 35-40 bucks if I remember correctly. Here is a link.
