Front Shaft U-Joint Question

I completed a 5spd swap this summer and now that winter is closing in, I just ordered the correct front driveshaft for my truck.

Trucks a '97 - F250 and still has the D50. SuperCab.

So, this is were I am getting confused.

From all the research I've done, these trucks seem to have come with a double cardan joint in between the driveshaft and TC.

My truck doesnt have one, and the shaft I ordered doesnt look to have one either (I'll have to wait and see once it comes in.)

So, for the TC U-Joint, Im looking for a 1330 Series Joint w/ a cup size of 1.062" and 1.125" correct? P# D/S5-1204X

Axle Side U-Joint measures the same...

I'd just like to have this all tied down so Im not parts hunting whenever I go to put on the new DS in 30* weather.

Thanks,
William

The F350s had the double cardan u-joint on the front drive shaft. The F250s did not if I recall right.

Well, that poses a problem then... I got the DS in today and.... It's got a double cardan joint. Supposing it fits length wise, will that be a problem?

The yoke on the transfer case is different between the two shafts too so if your tc had a none cardon joint shaft bolted to it before that's what u need unless you change the yoke and run the f350 shaft like I did

Thanks.

Does anyone have a part number for the yoke?
