I have a 6.2 f350, and was wondering if it could be set up for dual batteries. It looks like there is a spot for another bartery, but I'm not sure. It has the snow plow prep package. Anyone out there done or doing this?
There's no reason why you couldn't do this. Go to your dealer and look under the hood at the diesel truck. You can see how the batteries are wired from the factory.
You'll have to fabricate your second batt tray and find a solid place to ground your secondary batt. It's best to try to keep them close together so under the hood is best. If you decide to place your second batt somewhere else like in a toolbox just be sure to use 0/0 weld wire.
