just traded in the truck in my sig for an 07 F150 tonight, and has a couple minor issues, one of which is a light flickering in the instrument cluster; the light in the speedometer area randomly flickers. i did notice if i turn the dimer switch up and down a few times it behaves for a few moments.
here's the kicker; truck was imported from Canada, and was done so properly, so it has a standard units cluster now. i'm hoping its just a bad connection.. are there any other obvious culprits to look for? looks like i'll be figuring out how this dash comes out, was pretty easy in my SD.
pulled the cluster tonight. there are stickers on it from US Speedo certifying that it was converted to standard units last December. connections looked super clean and positively clicked. doesn't seem to flicker when truck is off.. more when running. moving dimmer has no effect.
anyone here?
EDIT: also, the bulbs are LED.. i don't think they're that way from the factory?
