I've been running the Scangage II for a long time now and I have hit a snag. Where do you find the inputs for the MAP readings? I have looked all over the place and just cannot seem to find them, I don't know where I got them in the first place.

With respect - I'm sorry, that's not how it works for my 2000 automatic truck. I have yet to see that gauge read accurately, and I've confirmed with an IR thermometer and a laser thermometer. If one were to go by that gauge, they would likely be stopping on the side of the road with nothing wrong. The sensor is not on the OBDII port in any way (confirmed on all wiring diagrams for automatics)... ECT is a calculation from a combination of other sensors. The ECT sensor is wired directly to the gauge on your dash, unless you have a manual transmission. As for manuals, members have reported the ECT reading on the OBDII port don't match up either, but I have no way to confirm that.
Thanks guys, I guess the MAP settings were already programmed into the Scangage when I got it. Believe me I think I have just about everything you can put in a Scangage in my X-gage settings. Is that ECT max of 210 correct? I see that a lot, even higher and that's after warm up as it's not correct till then. I also see a 14 to 15 degree delta on the EOT/ECT. I have always questioned my EOT, normal everyday operating I see 215 to 220. Towing it will max out at 228-230. Subtract the 15 degrees delta from that and you know what my ECT is showing.

Your EOT looks about right for summer driving in your area. It should be cooling down about now, though. I have 185-190 degrees in winter and 210 in summer - way up here close to Canada.
