what grille is this

All this time been working in the cab, working on the wood bed, fixing up the wiring, transmission, and I looked at the front of my 1966 and could not believe I never saw the grill before.

What is it- anybody know?

That looks like a 1965 grill.

Where is your front bumper or the frame horns to mount it on? Also looks like it is missing the gravel pan just below the grill.

If you can tell painted steel from painted aluminum from a picture then you ARE good! Lol. Probably correct, too.

Not sure about your area but you may get challenge on the legality of that front bumper. Just a thought.

Bill,
Got to ask this question.
My san jose built 65 flare side shorty has a 66 PAINTED Yellow grill.
I've only seen stainless 66 grills.
Maybe I've only seen custom cab options.
What do you make of this?

I know 66 grills became replacements for the 65 ones.
Thanks in advance.
