Hi all I,m doing the front brakes on a f350 4x4 1979 dana 60 of course. Just wondering what kind of lube to use on the sliding points? and should I be lubing the points where the pads slide inside the caliper? thanks for the help.

Yep. It's the "DOT" rating that matters so good to go whether synthetic or refined.... Two tall bottles typically... depends on single or dual piston calipers and whether the rig has rear discs.
