I have a 02 f250 superduty 7.3, picking my girls up from school today pulled up to line put my truck in park and it just stalled shut off. I tried to start it batteries are strong but the wait to start light does not turn off and will not fire up. My husband checked fuses reset the fuel shut off switch on passenger side and notta. The fuel pump is getting power but he's stumped. Please help and I'm sorry if I left something out, if you need more info please ask. Thanks for ANY help.
Was the cam position sensor ever replaced it will shut truck off with out notice .. Its a recall item from ford if ur truck hasnt had it changed it should be free . Its 1 10mm bolt. 5 minute change. Aftermarket ones are junk .. Need ford replacement

Make sure it has plenty of oil the injectors are powered by oil pressure
The fuse as mentioned above is the #30 under the steering wheel. Remove the cover under the wheel (4 flat head screw type plugs). Black box.... remove the cover and there are the fuses. Its going to the the #30 fuse which is going to be a 30amp fuse. The inside of the fuse box cover will show you the location of #30. If its blown then unplug the fuel bowl heater first ( Pop hood and the round canister on the top center of the motor is the fuel bowl. The top will have a black cap. On the back towards the bottom of the bowl will be a plug. Unplug it from the bowl. ), reinstall new fuse and start. I would check this first. I believe that WTS light not going off is a indicator of a blown fuel bowl fuse.
Never herd of that with a cps. More than likely thats it.
Don't waste your time swapping out PCMs if anything get a code reader on it.
