Bed Supports

My bed supports are rotten. Are they replaceable? I talked to Ford and was told that I have to replace the entire floor. Doesn't make sense. I have a short bed and there are no replacement bodies available in my area. Does anyone know if the only difference between a single wheel body and a dually body is the fenders? Can I get a single wheel body and hang dually fenders on it? Looks like it to me. All ideas/information appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you can. My dad bought a SRW F350 in 03, and shortly after, had it converted to a dually. Among other things, they added the fenders to the SRW bed sides.
