has anyone seen a 2010 bed on a 1999-2004 body? i know the flare outs on the fender are a little different than the ones on my 2003...reason i am asking is insurance can only find this model bed around..and said they do not make that body anymore...sooo insurance found a 2010 bed and i just want to find out before i go to see it on the truck to see how it looks...make sense?

I'm not aware of any change in the 2010. The 2011 is the change to the rear fender with the indentation around it. The 2010 should match up just fine.

 

Yep, beds are the same from 99-2010. Tailgate and tail lights are different on 08-10, but the rest of the bed is the same.

 

It will match up fine, but you will need a new tailgate as they are different size, but just think it will be a good time to get the tailgate step

 

The tailgates will interchange if you change the driver side hinge to the older style tailgate. I just installed a 5th wheel tailgate from my 01 on my 2011 F250 by changing the 11 driver side hinge to one from an 05. The newer tailgates have a slotted driver side hinge for the tail gate assist option. The hinge cost me about $11.00 verses $300.00 for a new 5th wheel tailgate. I think physically ford tail gates are the same except for slight style changes on some years.
