gas caps question
Question - comparing the two caps (first one is for 1974 F100, w/EEC; second one is for 1977 F-150 w/o EEC), other than the venting differences and decorative piece for the 74, due to no concealment door on that model, I see very little difference. Though some say there is a depth difference in the cam, I can take the one for the 1977 and put it on my 74 and it fights tightly. In fact, when I bought the truck in 2012, PO had a later style/non-EEC cap on, which I changed.
My son just lost the gas cap last night - I used the one for my 'parked' 77 as a quick fix, but shoot, it looks to work ok.
Any issues??
