Question Locking vented gas cap?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of a locking VENTED gas cap that fits a styleside bed? I've tried numerous caps and none seem to fit properly. Right now, I just have the normal one with the tabs that you turned with a hole drilled in it to vent. The venting is important, because the truck has a diesel engine and I'm running the return line through the valve on the top of the tank. If it's not vented, it will create a vacuum and not let ample fuel flow (don't ask how I know). It also needs to be locking, because I'm going to school soon and don't want somebody who's stumbling home from a party who thinks my truck looks good to mess with and dump anything in my tank.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What year is your Chevrolet/GMC?

Don't have fuel cap applications for the GM twins, do have them for F100/350's.

1978:

D8TZ-9030-B .. Single Locking Vented Fuel Cap-includes 2 keys (Motorcraft FC-805-2) / Obsolete ~ 94 available NOS

D8TZ-9030-E .. Locking Vented Fuel Cap KIT-includes 2 caps & 4 keys (Motorcraft FC-806-2) / Obsolete ~ 3 available NOS

Thanks Bill, excuse my use of the lowly Chevy term. My FORD is a 79, so I would think that D8TZ-9030-B will work (it's just a single tank). Any idea where I could get one though? I'm currently searching obsolete Ford parts sites with the part number.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 1 = 972-937-2201.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 93 = 800-476-9653.

Yes they do, but for some reason the ones they have do not fit quite right.
