I just received this new OBD11 Bluetooth connector , can anyone tell me the best user friendly app i could use for the iPhone / ipad.
Here's a pic of the connector , I'm not sure if it's a good connector maybe you can tell me that too.
I have a AE but just thought this would be good for quick scan or monitor pid's without having to cart the laptop with me.
I purchased this OBD11 connector from an Aussie company ,when it turned up in the post it's straight from China. oh no they got me again
Thanks for the info Adrian , i tried the DashComand app with no luck on the iPad. FORScan Home, was a bad site and blocked on my laptop, do you have that one and was there any trouble opening it once down loaded?
I have Forscan I downloaded it and installed on my laptop. Its not malware or anything - so if your virus protector/firewall blocks it, just try to approve it.
Thanks Adrian , I'll take a look at them , do you monitor icp / ipr and others , i don't seem to be able to find them when i enter my trucks info or they don't show up.
I actually don't use the app to monitor - the engine tuner on my truck plugs into the OBDII port and I use that to monitor EGT's/ICP on my truck etc.
ICP, and IPR aren't standard OBDII PID's so the Dash Command or any other generic OBDII reader can't access them unfortunately. I think only AE, Scanguage and the Forscan tool linked can do that.
