leveling kit

Are you are talking about the spacer that goes under the coil spring? My son and I put one on his 96 F250 and it was pretty simple. It really did improve the stance of his truck. I have looked at this one for my 2002. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Leveling-Kit-2-Lift-for-99-08-Ford-F250-F350-2WD-Silver-Spacers/380972451938?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3D0d02a9f78b8647f181484a3439ab2f15%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D20131003132420%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D121352518438&rt=nc
I have read here that you may need to grind the parts of the spindle where it attaches to the I beam. When you get it aligned the spindle gets moved closer to the I beam with the new ball joint and alignment shim.

Looking at doing this, could you also use the kit that opposes the kit at the same time? Example, lower leveling kit for 2 inches on bottom of the spring assembly and two inch leveling kit for the top of the strut? Need 4 inch but not 6 inches and am on a budget as its my family vehicle and daily driver.

My buddy at the tire shop said I should be able to fit a 285/75/16 with the 2 inch level. Ive found a 3in body lift but it seems odd to spend $300+ for a body lift.
