Hey everyone I have two broken glow plugs, one on 3 and one on 7. Old ones were champions i believe, replaced other 6 with motorcrafts. They are broken off flush with the head, looks like only the threads and tips are still in the head. Was wondering if anyone else had similar problem/solution.... besides pulling the head.... Don't have the time, or know how really.... otherwise I'm probably getting rid of it and taking a huge loss. Thanks
Ok tried using ez out but couldn't seem to get enough of a grip.... going to get some bigger bits and see if that works... Otherwise I am at a loss with this situation.... I was also thinking I would wire just the 6 to run it. I just need to at least get it to start for now, although I live in NH and winter is coming soon.... How hard will it be to start on 6 plugs?

Okay this works with broken exhaust manifold bolts. I've done this several times. Find a nut that will fit on top of the plug. Weld in the center making it one piece. Use a mig and don't get it too hot. While the weld is still hot use your impact to run it out. Worst that can happen is the weld breaks loose. Just be extremely careful not to weld the plug to the head. If that doesn't work drill it and tap it. And if that fails... Take the head off and get creative.
