Operation Rhino Removal

I have had some spare time here and there. So I have decided to take off the rhino liner that is all over my truck. (it's starting to peel off the hood anyways)
It's a slow process! Aircraft paint remover and a scrapper.

Here is after 15 min (using a rag to apply)

Here is after 45 min (got a old paint brush to apply it which is easier)

The passenger door has bondo in it good thing I have a spare truck with a good door.

Hopefully I can get it all removed by Christmas!

HELP!! 91-95 cab

I made a deal with a guy today. I traded my 87 F 150 reg cab that hasn't ran in 7 years and has no reverse for this truck. ( I took my front doors, bed, and dash off it)

http://images.craigslist.org/01313_i...XN_600x450.jpg

My truck is a 91 4x4 and this was a 95 2wd diesel it's missing some things from it. (all doors, motor, trany, wire for engine, and rearend)

Here is my thought and need some help wondering if this will work.
I plan on doing a full restoration on my 91 in the future. I have 2 ways of thinking and need some guiding on what will work together.

Option 1 take 95 cab and bed and put it on my truck use my door and dash..

Option 2 take 95 down to frame and restore it from ground up and put my 91 front clip on it, move motor, tranny, and axles over to that frame.

My concerns are that the 91 doors will not work on the 95 and the mounting maybe different between frames and cabs??

The doors will work, the only real difference is the shape of the vent window. I put 95 doors on an 86 with no issues which I later swapped for 91 doors to get power windows and locks.

If you put your front clip on the newer cab, you may have a small gap where the top corner of the fender meets the windshield pillars. It's not terribly noticeable, and only another Ford aficionado is likely to notice at all.

I wonder... would MEK(Methyl Ethyl Keytone) take it right off? It'll take /most/ paints right off with a swipe, but won't touch some epoxy/solvent-resistant paints. Still, we use it at work a lot, and I've had good luck with it taking off paint on my truck.
It's also not too expensive, but can be a bit hard to find.

For the hard spots, though... angle grinder with a 7" sanding pad works nice.

I went and purchase a new pressure washer 3100 psi 2.8 gpm. with aircraft paint remover. Much much easier until clean up

Here is before and 35 min later My youngest son wanted to try it he's 12

He was having a blast lol!

Also got my donor truck home to steal the bed off of it. Was going to take the doors off but they are in worst shape then my current ones.

For now just trying to get the rhino liner off and get it in primer to keep it from rusting. Once I get my barn built (in 2017) I plan to do full restoration.

I plan to have the motor rebuilt, bigger injector pump, turbo, inter cooler, on the fence on changing the tranny to 5sp manual (have bad knees from plumbing for last 18 years). Nothing exciting like RacinNdrummin does. Just would like to get more than 13 mpg out of it.

Color I change my mind weekly. it's mainly between a olive green, bluish gray, and burgundy

At LAST!

I know it's been a long process. Pressure washer made a big difference. Now to find time to sand, fix dents and primer it. Plus remove this bed and put the donor truck bed on. Still not set on a finish color yet.
