All of the sudden truck won't start

79 F250 400 4x4 Custom

I have never had any issues starting my truck. It has a brand new Jasper rebuild that has about 300 miles on it.

I recently intalled an aftermarket radio. Nothing fancy, just the cheapest one autozone had. I noticed that it won't keep its memory. Even after checking all of the connections multiple times, making sure it had good ground, it won't keep memory. It sometimes would but sometimes wouldn't.

I was just sitting in the truck turning the key off and on to see if it would keep memory. It did, then I started the truck. After starting it lost memory. Then all of the sudden, nothing. Turn the key, nothing. Turn the key on, no gauges, no radio, no nothing. Put my test light on the battery and it is ok. Turned the key to the on position and checked the fuses, nothing. No power at all in the fuse box. Any advice?

sounds like a bad/loose/corroded battery cable...or it could be an open fusible link...
