Most engines are equipped with them from the factory. They just leave them on there. See if it lines up to the bolt spacing on the exhaust manifold. Sometimes they used long studs instead of bolts, and this bracket fit over the studs with nuts on the outside. If it doesn't line up to those, keep that same theme and see if it lines up with other threaded holes or bolts on the engine. To pick up a inline six, I would think you need to pick it up toward the rear and another spot toward the front.
