4.9L Inline 6
Hey guys i have a question. I am not looking to buy or sell i am just wondering what a fair price is for a 91 4.9L. I found one for $850 only 71,000 miles. it is coming out of an Ecoline van that was used for a small florist doing local deliveries only. Just wondering if this is a good price. I have a 1955 F-100 that I am thinking about putting it in. I know its a great motor but is it worth $850?

I have no idea, but my gut tells me that is a bit high for that old of an engine.
By any chance did you ask the same question in one of the other engine specific forums?

I'm with Splash67 on this... I don't know the exact value of that engine, but it sounds high to me. If you look hard enough, you can often find whole trucks that have this engine in them for not much more than that.
