Late 2004 Crank No Start
I have a late 2004 and was getting low voltage reads from FICM and long start time on the first start of the day not to bad about 5 seconds or so then about a week ago it wouldn't start, cranks but no start. Check the errors and had a multitude from low voltages but the one that stood out was P2885 if I remember correctly. Cleared the error and tried again and got it started. Move it to the garage and was able to restart the truck several time after that.
Removed the FICM and sent it in for repair (FICMrepair.com) reinstalled it and I have not gotten it to start since.
Here are the numbers from the Torq App.
KOEO:
IPR: 14.7
FICM Sync: 0
FICM Volts: 48.5
C & CR Sync: 0
Battery: 12v
Cranking:
IPR: 38.7
HPOP: 900-1100
FICM Volts: 48.5
FICM Sync: 1
C & CR Sync: 1
Oil Gauge is Registering pressure
What else can I check? Batteries seem to die pretty quickly, could this be the problem? Any ideas?

Sounds like you may have a CAM sensor connector issue...seems to be a lot of that going around lately. I just had 1 here at the shop same thing...check out my thread "03 Nightmare"
Mine finally threw a code P2614, found the connector wiring was open right at the connector when I checked it with my DVOM.
Just a thought.

If your gauge doesn't have ICP voltage as an option, does it have ICP presure/psi? You are looking for not less than 500 psi during cranking.
Perhaps your code from before was a P2285 code? That is all things injection control pressure.
Hope this helps! Just don't drive down your batteries trying to get it to start - it would be a shame to kill that nice, new and shiny FICM you've got from us. If you've got battery issues, maybe replace them or get them charged up (if that's all that's needed) before you go too much further.

0.3 volts isn't enough. It has to be above 0.6. You've found your issue - inadequate high pressure oil getting to the injector oil rail. Essentially, we're talking the standard things now - dummy plugs, stand pipes, snap to connect fittings.
If you want to do this work yourself, give us a call at 515-897-4459 and we can hook you up with the parts necessary to get back on the road.
Just make sure that you have the FICM unplugged (or use the remote starter engagement wire on the passenger side fender) to get all of the air out of the system following the opening up of the high pressure oil system. Sadly, many a FICM has been killed by the repeated cranking with no chance of starting following the up to three minutes of cranking necessary to get everything going again.

Tested it 3 more times and everytime it was at .2 not sure if I read the .3 after a turn the truck over or not. My app is only showing one decimal pass the point.

Your late build 04 does indeed have the dummy plugs, etc.

the replacement of the dummy plug, etc is usually because of hard or no start when hot, correct?
