I bought a 7C 9282 fuel line from DC for my F1 and its not even close to the old one. Anyone know why and do you guys have any pics of the original line and routing. This new one is steel and I dont want to bend it up trying to make it work.
Well, if you look at that as if it were to go up the fire wall, everything looks ok until the end shoots out at a 90 degree towards the grill. I believe the original is straight up the firewall, then the hose takes over to the pump.
Here's a couple shots from my Mercury. Maybe they'll help. One shows the fuel line coming up from under the frame rail and attaching to the firewall. The other shows the line attached at the firewall and the hose running up to the fuel pump, along the left edge of the pic.
