I have a '76 F250 with a 360.My question is does anyone know
where I could get the factory cold air intake for my truck. The plate
is there in the radiator support and I would like to feed my truck
some cold air.If a guy can't get an aftermarket kit anywhere, has
anyone fit something from another model year or even a setup
from another make truck.
Thank's
I've found several of these at the junk yards in really good shape. The run from the rad support to just by the battery, then use about a 1 foot long flex host to connect to the air cleaner intake.
I'm not sure where you could find one new, but I've seen several of them at the junk yards without even looking hard.
Well before going and spending a $100 bucks why not make one?I have picks I could e-mail ya.I used 4" fexi-duct and a few hose clamps.Granted i did cheat on the inlet on the underside of the vehicle.I used a floor duct screwed on.You hardly see it when its painted flat black.Cost me about $15
PS i would imagine it would work better with dual inlets(something i didn't do)But just go to your local bone-yard and pick up another inlet, bolt it to the other side after you cut the hole.
Thank's for the input guy's.I found the factory plastic intake at a
boneyard and got the flex tubing at the local auto parts.I've got
$17.00 into it,now to see if it helps the fuel mileage.
