Sputtering 84
My 84 f150 351w started sputtering today. It happened suddenly when I gave it a shot of gas. It seems to hesitate to pick up speed. Also feels low on power. Engine seems normal at idle. Could this be a fuel problem, or fire?

accelerator pump going bad perhaps?
Let it warm up and then shut it off. Look down the carburetor and pull the throttle. You should see a good squirt. If not, then bad accelerator pump.
Could be clogged or dirty jets, fuel filter, etc. also.
