Sagging springs?
Still a little unclear on some the hardware required to do this right.
See shackle kits in the catalogs - $170 for the front springs. $25 for the rear. These include the bushings and nuts and bolts to secure the springs??
They just said basically "figure out what you need and give us a call." Didn't push it, doesn't seem like that's the way to make a sale though. Hm.
As promised.

I apologize for not getting the total correct in my previous post, but these are the actual numbers I paid in 2011.
Of course, I do not know if these prices will be good, so best of luck.
I unbolted the old springs (be sure to jack up the axle!) from the axle first, then took them off the truck. To re-install, I set the new spring on the axle, jacked the axle up enough to get one hanger bolt installed. Then I jacked it up the rest of the way, and buttoned it all up. One spring at a time, too.

I bet prices went up, that's not news. Looks good though and in line. So, those are part #s for F100 61-64??
Still planning on having a shop do it. Sometimes the best tool to have is a checkbook. I can do it ... Still just tell this is going to be one of those "shoulda done this a long time ago." Should improve cornering, ride, stopping, noise even? Anyway we'll check 'em out.
Hopefully somebody will respond a little better to "please take my money"; going to take the creeper out and spray down everything every couple days with ATF/Acetone mix for a couple weeks and figure out what all parts to order. Usually it takes a couple weeks for the springs to get made up. You figure they have the fronts too, no problem?
1965 - 1972 F100 2 wheel drive rear leaf spring, 5(4/1) Leaves, 950 lbs capacity
but it's slim pickings for the rear springs as far as a complete kit is concerned, seems like I have to order front bushings for the rear springs from one company, and rear bushings from another, and the bolts themselves from yet another.
Sheesh, seems like somebody would offer a kit that has everything ya need and nothin' ya don't. Then there's the matter of U bolts. Seems like these should be replaced and not reused.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
The springs came with their bushings already installed. The only bushings I had to buy extra were for the shackle end frame mounts.
Also, two shackle kits for the rear springs. Ended up buying all of this and a complete set of springs and shocks from Performanceonline.
But it seems that the shackle kits don't include the spring bushings for the front eye of the rear springs, and already ordered everything. Shoot. They told me the springs don't include bushings.
Figured the U bolt set they offered for the rear springs wouldn't be the right size, since there are helper springs on my truck. Need 2.5 by 9.5in.
Any other parts that should be replaced to do this right?
