HELP!!! 66 ford F-100 all glass is good except windsheild!! What is the safest and easiest way to remove without breaking? All original glass so its been in there a long long time!

I cut my glass out front and back the doors I took off then worked the glass out

I used a sharp utility knife and cut the rubber around the inside and outside of the window. Go slow and take your time. Once you cut through the rubber the window can come out the front. If you have the trim around the windshield like a custom cab would come with just remove it with the rubber after the windshield is out. It is virtually impossible to remove the trim with the windshield still in place since the trim has an "L" shape where it is embedded in the slot in the rubber.

Even better might be a carpet knife. Narrower blade and quite a bit sharper blade when new.

I don't know where you're located, but I have a used windshield that you can have if you can pick it up. I'm in central Calif.

TWO different windshield weather strips. Custom Cabs and 1965/66 F100/250 Rangers have stainless steel windshield reveal mouldings.

The weatherstrip is specific to these mouldings as it has a groove in it.
