I have a 239 Y block in my 55 F250 and back around 1970 or so. It was rebuilt by a company named (at the time) Consolidated Rebuilders out of Hutchinson KS.
The tag on the motor says Piston OS .040
My engine also has two different heads
EBV-B and ECG-C which I've heard other places that they aren't interchangeable....
So, there are lots of things you can do with this engine, but I'm definitely not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm more of an original type of guy, but my skill level forces some of that as well.
