351 W Engine Block Question?

Okay, I have a 1993 Ford f250 with a 5.8L 351W in it that is running, But this winter when I'm trapped inside I would like to build an engine for the truck. What I was planning on doing is putting the block and rotating assembly, cam, etc together as complete as I can inside, and then removing my 5.8L that is IN the truck and swapping my fuel injection onto the new motor and then putting it back into my truck, I would like to reduce my down time on the truck as this is my only 4wd vehicle and thats pretty important when you live in the sticks! However my question is this: I have been given a 1973 Ford 351 Windsor block that I was going to use for my built engine, would my fuel injection parts and accesories bolt to this block or should I find newer style block?
