Buying coolant

Where do y'all buy your coolant? Non of the major parts chains seem to have it. Although I haven't checked napa. I notice Walmart carries the final charge though.

If your talking about ELC try to find a big rig maintenance shop something like this New and Used Trucks, Leasing & Finance - Kenworth, Hino, Ford, Volvo, Isuzu - MHC . These guys are located in the south but should be similar in your area.

I've used the Final Charge. If they have enough, get it there.
If not, just have a parts house order you up some. I called my local O'reilly's one morning and they brought some in from their warehouse that same evening.

If you are referring to ELC, I would go with CAT. It's proven with their own equipment, and they do ELC testing.

Tractor Supply stock Shell Rotela ELC concentrate. I purchased a gallon last Sunday for $15, normally the concentrate costs $10 more than that.

Peak Final Charge is CAT EC-1 approved.

I couldn't find any either. 'Local' CAT dealers and other places people often suggest aren't very local to me and would require me to take time off work to go there during biz hours.

I wound up using Peak Final Charge. The Peak brand seems to be the only brand of ELC coolants that local to me auto parts stores carry. Turns out that they can special order the stuff even though they don't normally have it on the shelves.
