Update on 2" leveling kit.
Got the 2" kit installed, more work than anticipated. Took it to get it aligned and they couldn't do it. My guy at the 4X4 shop said it's not a problem with the older straight axle trucks, but with the ind. front end it changes the geometry too much.
Went back and removed two plates, will take it back and see what happens.

Your alignment guy needs to learn more about ttb suspensions. Get a couple adjustable camber bushings, hell even amazon carries them. Factory camber bushings have very little adjustment to them while the adjustable ones have about 2 and 3/4 degrees worth of adjustment.........Then take the truck to a different shop, preferably a TRUCK shop or a shop that specializes in alignments unlike your chain stores or tire dealers who mostly only know how to do what the computer tells them.

Yeah it can be done. Needs about 1.5 degrees or so more camber than stock, and the correct bushings do exist (adjustable bushings are a good fit for this). I bought mine on Amazon, installed myself and "guessed" at the camber settings. Came out close enough (tires looked vertical afterwards, then I set toe), no funny tire wear after about a year and 10k miles.
