does anyone know of a part number for the camber bushing needed on a 2wd TIB suspension when installing a 2" leveling kit?
i have found out by some basic measurements that installing the 2" bushing will give me 4* of negative camber that i need to correct.
as an alternative, how much range does the stock bushing have?
how is it measured?
if a bushing says +- 3.25* correction is this more than stock?
i have a stock suspension now but i think that i already have about .25* positive camber because the outer edges of the tires are wearing pretty fast.
Any good alignment shop should be able to help you. Also you could check with a dealer parts department. I think I would go with an alignment shop first.
ok then. i was going to try and get the part myself so i could get it close before bringing it to the shop, but i guess its better to be sure you get the right part.
i saw some for around $12 on summit, but thats not a big price difference for peace of mind.
how long did it take you to install them?
i figure no more than a few hours, maybe 3.5 worst case scenario

It was in and out of the shop in two hours. They also charged me two hrs labor on top of the alignment charge to install them, so if you get em yourself, you'll save $100 in labor alone. I wish I did it that way.
Here is what mine look like.
got a part number?
if you still have the reciept it should be on that, but if not its cool.
i guess if i get the one with the most correction possible, it can always be adjusted to zero anyway, so maybe i will just take that route.

do you have a before and after shot?
just curious
I looked at the reciept for ya, but it doesn't give any number, just a price.
Do you mean a before and after of how the truck sits, or of the original camber bushing?

either or both...
i originally meant just the truck, but the bushing before and after would save me the inconvenience of walking outside to look on my own lol.
Here is the original bushing. The new one is posted above.
I blew it up so you can see the bushing...notice the fin that fits in the slot. It can not be adjusted.
i found a 4* bushing at napa when I installed it I had to set it all the way to 4*. also I'm sure you know this but you have to do a fair amount of grinding to get the full 4* correction out of it.
