Electric doorlocks
I have a 99 f-150 4x4 extended cab, 4.6L. Sometimes my passenger side door lock works, sometimes it does not. I can hear the motor working but sounds like it is stuck. What can I do?

there have been several threads about this in the last couple of weeks....most have been an actuator problem....Try a search for door locks or just look back over the last couple of pages and you should find some good info.

I had the same problem in me 99 f150. Both door locks would not fully actuate. Some times they would but most of the time they would only actuate half way. I greased the linkage in both doors and the problem was gone. A dealer told me that most cases if the actuater is bad it won't try at all.
