Okay this is been a reoccurring problem.
My cruise control sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
Sometimes if I push it hard and repeatedly it works, sometimes not. Now I can't get it work at all and I have an 18 hour drive in the AM early!
Well thanks for that!
I never use CC as I drive only in the city, that's why it's "last minute" because I didntbknow it was fully not functioning....
Now what is it I don't have time for?
I'd like to have the info so I can repair when I have time
Sounds like the problem I had with my old Sport Trac. What it was is the brake like switch that was attached to the pedal. We were on a trip and the cruise stopped working, I got under the dash and tapped on it with a screw driver and sprayed it with electrical cleaner. Worked great for about a year and I fixed it the same way again. To lazy to go buy a new one. Hope this helps.

Hmm I'm really starting to think its the switch as sometimes it lights up and sometimes it doesn't, but it never stays on. I assume it's not getting power. Bad thing is I can wait to get one from Ford this morning but I'm assuming it will be crazy expensive?
