banks ottomind
Anyone know the hp rating on the banks ottomind chip?anyone running one now?

we tend to stay away from the banks chips here.

If it is the version that was sold as part of the Power Pack package in 2001 it was a 40 hp tune. I installed my old chip in my In-laws Excursion, they like the added power.

I had one in mine but replaced it with a DP tuner. To me it wasn't enough of a HP gain plus I wanted a more of a variety to switch between. I bought mine in 08 and it claimed a 120 hp gain but that was a true lie.

My truck came with the complete Banks package! And like Pitcrw I ditched the Ottomind and the Trans Command and went with the DP chip!Best move I ever made with this truck!She pulls like a Panzer! If anybody needs a Ottomind I have a PMT2 chip I will practically give away!Drop me a PM!

Truck I. Bought came with a banks kit already installed I do plan on ditching the chip for a dp tuner here real soon

Also found trans command under truck but looks not to be connected what's the purpose of the trans command?

it adds line pressure and changes the shift points. If you go with another type of tuner be sure to leave the trans command disconnected. I also have a ottomind for real cheap if anybody wants it.
