Transmission? Engine? Both?
Hello everyone and thanks for the help. I have a 2001 f250 7.3L. I bought it with 192,000 miles and have driven it to 206,000 in the last 6 months. When I put it in gear, the truck will "bog" down and sometimes die. I will have to refill the transmission fluid every 2 weeks but I can't find where it's leaking. Thoughts?

I can't see that it's leaking anywhere. There is no transmission fluid under the truck, and there is never a puddle under the truck when it sits for a while. But I have to add fluid about every week and a half or so.

Like Mark said, I would completely clean the underside degrease it as much as you can. When transmissions lose fluid there is almost always a fluid trail(cracked case, bad gasket, bad seal, etc).
