ATF works also and is cheaper.

the key here though that suggests the issue is external linkage is because the trans control unit is sensing that TPS/FIPL is going out of range.(he wont get code 23 when he scans because when he goes to scan,he holds WOT and all is right with the world during the scan) so the flashing od light is suggesting that the sensor is physically being twisted beyond it's range which tells the teca,uh oh and trips the code (flashing od light) until the idle returns to normal/sensor turns up where it belongs.
if the od light wasn't flashing,then one would know to simply clean the ip (ATF works super when this stalling issue happens on deceleration in my experience too.)
it still should be just about as easy a fix.
