Do any of you guys know an easy way to remove the white wax film from the trim. I seem to get a lot of it on when doing a wax job. I have tried many things and nothing seem to work.
If you are talking in the "powerstroke" emblem and stuff, I just use a cue tip. Works great. Also use them on the back window around the seam Between the cab and the window itself
I use a soft bristle 1" paint brush with the bristles wrapped in masking tape...except for the last 1/4 inch of bristle. It stiffens the brush enough to get in to the cracks without scratching anything.
I second the peanut butter. Use an old tooth brush and some creamy peanut butter. Worked great at removing cleaner wax from the wife's jeep trim that dried white on the black fenders. I bet you already have some in the pantry to, try it out. Enjoy as you work, eat a little
