black window trim
Down here in sunny FL most 02-05 explorers and montys the black window trim has long had the clear coat peeled off from the sun. Anyone know how to remove this trim as I would like to repaint it white to match body.

Well the trim you speak of is acutally part of the window frame. We call it Encapsulated or in simple terms, window framework. Ask a glass shop to check it for an any removal or not. Hey, it never hurts to ask if it can be removed. So,if I'm wrong on this.
