BBW Question

Were the 1956 BBW's made in all the Ford plants, or just in some? Mine was made in Kansas City, but I have heard they only came from San Jose. Thanks for any answers.

I had thought they were all from San Jose, does your VIN tag # match your frame #?

but then again someone could have done a cab swap

Thanks for your response, bigwig. I can't find the frame #...too many years of crud, and I'm not too agile anymore. I'm more concerned about a later conversion than a cab swap.
Does anyone have a legit BBW from anywhere other than San Jose?

if someone have done a late repro sheet metal swap it should be quite easy to identify on the inside (behind the upholstary) I imagine
