I would think it depends on the style of dome light that;s installed - the one with just a single lens, or the one that has the two eyeballs (map lights) on the side in addition to that.

Center dome is a 912 and the side map lights (if equipped) are 105.
Which if you do like me and convert to LED bulb, it is a T10 wedge base. Not much brighter than the stock bulb with the white frosted lens (be brighter with the later model clear lens that was used on the Mercury's) but in a dark area it lights up very well and its a nice clean white not a dingy yellow like the 912 bulbs give off.
I was at pick n pull found a bulb that works no distinguishing marks but it works. now i have something I can show the knuckleheads at autozone when this one burns out. Thanks to all,
