Front Dome Light
Well, I'm stumped!
When I bought the Ex the dome light did not work, took off the cover to discover no bulbs. No problem, I thought, so I went to my handy owners manual and looked up the bulb number. Went to my local Canadian Tire store to the bulb section and of course the factory number didn't correspond to their numbers. They did have one of those reference books that lists vehicle make and model, so I proceed to look up the Ex and locate the bulb specified. It was one of those bulbs that has no metal end on it, just a crimped glass end with a couple of wires contacts. Well, needless to say, it was not the buld for my dome.
Was at the Ford dealership yesterday getting my tranny flushed and filled ($119 plus tax...couldn't resist, plus it definitely needed it) anyway, I go and see the parts guy while this is being done and ask him about the bulb needed for the dome light. He dutifully pulls up his parts screen and says I need a long, cylindrical shaped bulb. I question his search but he is adament that it's the bulb needed. Of course, they have none in stock.
Please help me find the proper bulb so we can see the front of our interior at night... thanx

You need this bulb...well...two of 'em. 
Have the parts guy look up map lights and not dome light as I think the long cylindrical one is for the rear hatch area light. There were no discernible markings on the light bulb below.
